Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally known as Andra day is an American R&B artist and singer. She has won the Grammy Award and Children's and Family Emmy Award. Golden Globe Award and Academy Award nominations are also an honor for her. Andra Day is a gifted and skilled artist. It's not like she's an old-fashioned R&B specialist, however her roots in gospel jazz and the blues are evident and translates to today's music. Her first album Cheers To The Autumn (2015) was an immediate success in the genre of R&B/hiphop which earned her a variety of Grammy and Academy Award nominations. Stand Up for Something (2017), her contribution to Marshall's soundtrack, earned her both awards. Amen (2018) Amen (2018) Your Troubles (2020), and her Golden Globe-winning performance in Billie Holiday, in The United States against Billie Holiday(2021) continue to build anticipation for Day's second full album. Andra was born Cassandra Monique Batie on Edmonds Washington. Growing up living in San Diego and surrounding areas She began singing in church and enrolled to the School of Creative and Performing Arts. When she left the School of Performing and Creative Arts, andra Day began to focus her attention on contemporary R&B and Pop, however she quickly realized that her soulful jazz influences were what she was most attracted to. Kai Millard Morris, who was able to catch a live performance of Day and took her songs to the husband of Stevie Wonder, was the main breakthrough. The Motown legend then became acquainted Day with industry veteran Adrian Gurvitz. Day was signed by Warner Bros. after gaining an enormous YouTube following with Gurvitz as well as Jeffrey Evans Buskin. The song was picked up rapidly on radio by DJs. After that, she joined Warner Bros. Records and began work with the producer Adrian Gurvitz to record her debut album Cheers to the fall (2015). The single "Rise Up" became a global anthem for social justice campaigns. Day earned 2 Grammy nominations for her album including Best R&B Album. The United States against Billie Holiday is a conceptual recording about the famous jazz musician. It came out by Day in the year 2019. That same year she starred in a biopic on Holiday's story, The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Andi Mattichak is an American actor. She began her career in television shows like Orange Is the New Black, 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods. Her first film role was as Allyson in the series of horror Halloween. Andi Mattichak was born the 3rd of May, 1994 in Framingham Massachusetts.
