Suzy Kolber's parents are Jewish. The birth of Suzanne Lisa Kolber May 14 1964, at Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Suzy is now 58. Sandra Kolber is her mother and Gene Kolber is her father. She was a student at Sandy Run Middle School, Dresher Pennsylvania. In 1982 she completed her studies at Upper Dublin High School. It was the University of Miami awarded her an Associate of Arts (telecommunications) degree in the year 1986. As a freshman in college when she was hired at Dynamic Cable, as the Sports Director. Aside from that, she also worked at the company for two more years between 1984 and 1986. During this period she also played in the Miami University's water ski team. In her youth Plaza took part in community theatre in her native Wilmington acting performing improv as well as directing one-act theatre. After graduating of her high school in the year 2000, she relocated into New York City. There she attended classes of improv as well as film making at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. In 2006, after having a stroke in her 20s she was diagnosed with expressive Aphasia.
